Maui Bot
Maui Bot is operated by Internet Crafters.
Maui Bot studies public website design and layout patterns. We may publish structured layout observations and use them to improve our website-building tools. We do not republish the websites’ text, images, or source code.
How it visits websites
We use limited, paced requests and respect robots.txt exclusions. Our supervised pilots process one page at a time, with at least 60 seconds between page starts on the same website and at least three seconds between outgoing website requests. Longer crawler delays and server cooldowns take precedence.
The crawler identifies itself as MauiBot. Its request identification includes a link to this page.
